Meet Hannah, Program Coordinator.
“I studied child development and knew early on that I wanted to work directly with young people in a meaningful way. When I found School of Sociability, the mission immediately resonated with me — the structured approach, the focus on practical social skills and the genuine care for every student.”
“As Program Coordinator, I have the opportunity to work with kids and families who are invested in real growth. I couldn't imagine doing anything else.”
Our COACHES
Susan
Susan brings a background in child and youth care to her work at School of Sociability, with a strong understanding of how young people grow, communicate, and build relationships. That foundation shapes how she coaches: structured, intentional sessions where students practise real social skills in a way that feels encouraging, practical, and responsive to their individual needs. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, painting, and catching live music around the city.
Blake
Blake brings a background in social psychology to his work at School of Sociability, with a strong interest in how individualized support helps young people grow socially at their own pace. That perspective shapes his coaching: sessions built around SSOC's structured methodology, adapted to each student's stage of development, strengths, and goals. Outside of work, he enjoys soccer, hiking, and spontaneous road trips.
Fred
Fred brings a strong academic foundation in communication and social psychology to his work at School of Sociability, with a particular interest in how people connect, communicate, and develop social behaviours. He applies that background in a practical way, helping students better understand social situations and build skills they can use with greater confidence in everyday life. Outside of work, Fred enjoys documentaries, basketball, and trivia nights with friends.
Gilbert
Gilbert brings a research-informed background in group dynamics and social cognition to his work at School of Sociability, with a deep understanding of how people connect, interpret social situations, and develop a sense of belonging. He applies that knowledge in a practical, patient way, helping students build awareness, confidence, and stronger social skills over time. Outside of work, Gilbert enjoys chess, reading, and long walks around the city's galleries.
